It was the best hotel I have ever stayed. There is a huge private beach which is amazing. There is no "sun bed war" between the guests, so you can sleep all you want and you don't have to run to the beach to claim your seat with the towel early in the morning. There is plenty of space on the beach and there is always sun bed waiting for you, it doesn't matter what time you will go there, they will always find a place for you. The staff in the hotel is very kind and helpful. The best restaurant for us was Peridot, mainly because of the people working there, especially Neeraj and Mina :)

Fantastic location if you want to see the oldest part of Muscat. A few minutes walk from Mutrah fort. Fish Market, Corniche, and Souq. Lovely cafe on the top of the building. Super friendly Manager/Owner? who let us check in earlier than we were supposed to. He even bothered to walk to the cafe to let us know the room was ready. Big thing after overnight flight and merciless heat outside. Lovely, spacious apartment and cold water on arrival.

Set in Shatti Al Qurum Beach Area in Muscat, W Muscat features an outdoor swimming pool. All the rooms come with air conditioning and a flat screen TV with satellite channels.

Gorgeous views, fantastic linen and duvet. Some of the best staff. Youssef at the Kitchen, Florence at the Countdown, and Kashif at Bukhara-so amazing staff with amazing attention to detail. Not all rooms have balconies though. We had a balcony with sea views. But the courtyard views are as lovely. Pillows were too soft for us, but as soon as we asked for a former pillow, one was delivered in 10 minutes.

It is no exaggeration at all when I (and others on here) say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at (and I’ve had the pleasure of staying at many lovely hotels around the world). Absolutely everything was perfect. Every single member of staff (a mix of Omanis and international staff from so many countries) was beyond efficient and so friendly. I felt they took even extra care of me as I was staying alone (Shukran!) and their care and attention to detail was second to none! I didn’t meet the manager Mr Karim but would like to thank and congratulate him on running such an exceptional hotel. Among the many wonderful staff who all work so hard, special mentions to Suresh who checked me in in the early hours, Renuka who cleaned my room so meticulously, Schola the restaurant hostess who was very informative and gave me the best table for the Christmas Day brunch! Khine also a restaurant hostess who was lovely to chat too on my final evening and so helpful too and Kolthum who checked me out, such a lovely lady. El-Mostafa in the restaurant, Khalid who picked me up at the airport (plus the driver who took me back there), the restaurant staff in all the restaurants, the wonderful chefs and the beach attendants. The Chedi’s design is amazing. Beautiful grounds (they even have peacocks!), so tranquil, so clean, many dining options and wonderfully designed rooms. I can see why it’s a Leading Hotel of the World and has so many awards and accolades. Thank you Chedi Muscat for an unforgettable Christmas holiday!

The host was exceptional, the place was very clean, and as soon as you walk in there's always that spell of freshness, the place is always maintained. The kitchen space had everything you needed if you wanted to cook, from an oven to a blender. The beds were so nice and comfortable if there was anything you needed the host would be there for you, if I were to be a lone traveller in Muscat again, I would revisit.

Location is excellent Hotel is brand new so everything is in top condition. The rooms are great (we had the ocean view deluxe). The pool is excellent, cooled and clean. The breakfast was high quality and had a good variety. The water pressure is excellent. Every detail has been thought through.
