After two years living in the Philippines, without hesitation, we can say that Cocogrove is our favorite place. Firstly, and most importantly, because for many years the hotel and its management have been proactively protecting the environment, including the coral reefs at two marine sanctuaries in front of the hotel and in Apo island ( one of the best places to respectfully interact with turtles) . Secondly, the hotel offers high quality while maintaining a traditional and beautiful Filipino style, giving us a sense of tranquility even when the hotel was fully booked. Everything!!! The sea view is incredible The staff is super nice The room is comfortable 6 of us stayed for 5 nights. Everything was great. The host even shared a local eatery with us. We went 3 times before we left Siquijor. My husband woke up early during our stay and enjoyed the sea view, nice coffee, and the company of the 2 cute golden retrievers

We had a wonderful stay at Island Casitas. The host is extremely friendly and helpful — we were able to rent a scooter through the accommodation for several days. The scooter was even checked after the first day, and they made sure the rear tire was inflated again, which we wouldn’t have noticed ourselves. Thank you for that! The location is perfect for exploring the island, and the room was very cozy, everything was clean, and there is a shared kitchen available. Wonderful — we would definitely come back!

What sets this place apart are the loveliest; friendliest and smiliest staff I have met - special thanks to Analyn, Alona, Ashly, Adonis, May-Ann, Jayzel, Shiela, Junie, Joel, Ednalyn and Ghabrielle. The room was very well appointed and spotless, the view from the balcony of the beach and sea were beautiful, the gardens and beach/pool and garden areas were kept immaculate. The view from the Sunset was breathtaking and the food first class.

I completely enjoyed staying at Sascha’s Place. The room, balcony and gardens were wonderful but most of all I loved the hospitality of the owners family. They included me in all kinds of activities and meals so really felt like I was treated like a close friend or family member. I was able to rent a scooter directly from them. The location is fairly quiet and close enough to the port to catch an early morning ferry. It’s also pretty close to Peliton Beach and San Juan area for the beach, bars and restaurants. Charm, one of the owners, helped me find a tour guide and offered suggestions of where to go and what to do around the island. It was joy spend a full 7 nights there and I was quite sad to leave. Highly recommend this place!

The location is very quiet, you can enjoy amazing sunset. The swimming pool here is very beautiful and clean. The food in the restaurant is very good. I tasted the UBE coffee in Hawaii here, super great.
