Excellent hosts and excellent welcoming they go the extra mile Very nice breakfast especially the homemade rhubarb kind of jam Dinner we had the goat cheese salad and entrecôte. Loved it. Ingredients especially goat cheese salad was amazing. Room we had was very cute the bathroom is a little small (only fit 1 person). The lake in front of the hotel is very easy accessible and water was very clean. Had a nice swim session. Their is a small current to the right side of the jetty. Would suggest to have a flag so you can find back the starting position. Would recommend this hotel 100 percent.

The main reason for visiting Gränna during this particular weekend is the Bluegrass festival in town. The reason for choosing Strandterrassen hostel is the proximity to the caravan/camp/ cabin park just next to it. That's where all the musicians gather before and after the festival to play. Strandterrassen is an ordinary hostel with a shared bathroom. The doubleroom comes with a bunkbed, 2 lounge chairs and a table. The rooms is clean, it is cleaned by the guests. There's a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook or just keep your food- and drink items in the fridge and freezer. Free parking is provided. The ferry to Visingsö is just outside as well as the many restaurants on the pier. You can swim in lake Vättern. The Gränna town is a short walk away.
