But it is a reason to take it. The lodge is on a beautiful and breathtaking cliff. Amazing views. Driving in to the ecolodge area is just amazing. Pineapples all around, not to mention the rest. The cottage was spik and span and comfy. Different viewsites with well built platforms to do that. Beach within walking distance. Spacy and cozy, with big saloon and kitchen. Only 15 minutes on foot to the road, where You can catch collective buses. Only 30 minutes on foot to the Airport terminal. Small charming hideout at the edge of the world, right next to Sao Tome's best beach that you'll probably have all for yourself. Friendly service, good housekeeping, basic but cosey bungalows, great food. No amenities like hot water and 24/7 electricity, but the privacy and care you get more than make up for it.
