The staff and owners are super kind and make you feel very welcome! The Bungalows are right on the beach and at a very quiet area. You can fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves and crickets only.

Beautiful area, close to the beaches, cool shadow during the day time with nice breeze. Amazing owner and personnel at the restaurant! Also it is possible to rent a bike there.

Fabulous stay - the executive suite room was well worth the extra - the view was stunning whilst sitting in bed. Resteraunt served great food, Amy was very helpful and organised onward travel back to phuket (Ferry tickets and Taxi pickup from Ranong Pier). The Resort has a Tuk-Tuk to bring you and your backpacks/suitcases from the ferry terminal and back again at the end of the stay. Ask as soon as you are getting off the ferry - don't walk to the end of the pier as the tuk-tuk is usually waiting ON the pier for boats - just call ahead to Amy and be sure she knows you are arriving on the ferry and it will be there for you. The location is great - about five minutes from the Hippie Bar - which is probably the greatest bar on Earth - literally a warren of driftwood held together with (hemp) ropes (no plastic here). Anyway - Koh Phayam is like Thailand was twenty five years ago - a million miles away from party-town Phuket and lots of lovely uncrowded beaches. Marina Resort is one of the nicest frendliest places - book a stay - you won't be disappointed! :-)

Beautiful resort with very nice and helpful staff. The bungalows are exactly as pictured, and extremely comfortable and very beautiful. Especially the bed was amazing, and the jungle sounds made our nights even better. Thanks a lot!

Everything, great hosts and a great place!

We arrived at Heaven Beach resort, after a long journey from Chiang Mai, to be met by smiling , happy faces. The resort itself is situated on buffalo Beach, which is the quietess of the two beaches and somewhat sheltered than Long Beach. It's perfect for couples and families. We arrived in what would be considered high season, but you would not think so, and you can find your quiet spot with hardly anyone around you. The beach itself is pure, beautiful white sand. That's still retains some beach, even at high tide.at this location, not every resort does) 5 steps from our bungalow to the beach was AMAZING!! The bungalow we stayed in had a double bed with a brand new soft mattress plus a single bed. Some of the bungalows have two rooms, one with a double and a king-size bed, also a fridge, plenty of hanging room and storage. The bathroom is a good size and has two sinks!! ( great 👍) The staff have been truly amazing, especially Shinee and Mr. So took fantastic care of us. Food at the resort is excellent, and in my opinion, the best on this beach. But close by are other resorts with other menus, if wanted. This resort has everything you need for a great stay. Good road into resort ( if you're driving scooters. Staff that speak great English and knowledgeable on everything that makes your stay on the island enjoyable and memorable. My partner had his 60th birthday whist out here, Wan ( the owner went our of her way to help me organise a surprise magical day for him, which started with a private boat trip, where she dresses the boat up with flowers, balloons, birthday cake, fishing and snokelling gear. And lovely food. With a hilarious skipper, who made our trip!!! All of this completely bowled him away... that was not the end of it. On my request, she'd also arranged a secret private candlelight dinner on the beach with a bbq and even managed to get some steak imported from the mainland. We have been blown away by the people and the location...

This is my second visit and truly, there will be a third. This beach on the island is so nice. Tranquility at its best but with the convenience of choice close by. The food at Barefoot is SO good. Sam and Toi and the offical boss, Suzy the dog are brilliant. So kind and helpful and even gifted me some precious Yorkshire Tea which belonged to them for my morning tea. A gift that only a true English soul could understand the importance of. The room is lovely. We didn’t have air conditioning and we didn’t need it at all. In fact, it was bliss not having it. The beach is clean and the sea is warm. The shower comes with shower gel, shampoo AND conditioner which is really rare and very much appreciated. My only regret is not booking a longer stay… which happened last time so I should have known better!
