Beach Hotels in Surin Beach

This is the best hotel we stayed in Thailand ever. It is beautiful and very well arranged with the nature. The hospitality experience is great. During the check-in we were informed we were receiving an upgrade and to be honest it saved us, considering the number of stairs... The stairs may be inconvenient in the beginning but then you get used to it. However it is not a good place for people with limited mobility. The cottages are cute and well arranged. The bed is very comfortable. The rooms are just pretty. There is a private, beautiful beach, well equiped. Many sunbeds available for guests, near to the swimming pool or/and the beach. The water is like a soup, very warm it was very relaxing to stay in the hotel and enjoy the nature. When you go there, you have to be prepared to eat in the hotel, it is not so close to the restaurants. However, the food is very tasty. The quality in the restaurant vs room service is the same, we were very happy with the food every time. The portions are decent. maybe it could be a bit more choices for a room service, because we ordered it a lot, as we had a small baby and were not that mobile. The staff was very helpful and they support the guests, they always help on the beach and also when we had to arrange a doctor it was smooth and quick. I am very surprised with this place in a good way, the best holiday for a long period of time. We feel like we will come back there next year or in two years. The only thing, people complaint about is breakfast and yes, there are not so many choices comparing to other hotels, however there is available breakfast alla carte too and you could order things are not freely available. Everything was tasty overall. The place is not the newest and the most modern place, however you cannot notice that, because it is very well maintained.

Diyar is an excellent host and his wonderful support is already worth the choice. He has kept me updated on the weather conditions of surin beach since weeks before my departure as I was concerned about heavy rains! He was always extremely helpful throughout the stay, offering to answer questions and provide assistance for any doubts and needs. He welcomed us personally at our arrival despite it was very late and made us find welcome treats (a lot of tropocal fruits, drinks, coffes, cereals..) in the apartment, which was an unexpected suprise. The apartment is marvellous, very spacious and elegant, with a stunning hall where you can enjoy the swimming pool (for free) and a nice bar/restaurant (for paying). The rooms are huge, well furnished, there are two bathrooms (one with a pool-sized bathtub!), a TV with all international channels, a beautiful terrace and a big kitchen space. The beach is 5 min walking from the apartment and is served with several thai food stands. If interested, you can enjoy yoga classes in the morning for 400 bath on the surin beach, and wonderful massages nearby the apartment (I tried nana relax massage). I also highly recommend checking the nearby beach called laem sing, but please note that you need to do a little trekking between the rocks (sometimes slippery) to get there.

Lovely hotel, nice size room and superb staff. Short walk to beach and balcony overlooked sea. Nice breakfast.

We had a fantastic time at this property! The host was incredibly welcoming and always ready to answer any questions we had. The place was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with comfy beds that made for great sleep. We also appreciated having bikes available to rent on-site. The location is a bit remote with some bumpy roads, but it wasn’t an issue for us since we had bikes. Overall, a great experience! Highly recommend.

It's exceptionally clean, especially for a hostel. I literally saw them cleaning even the walls and the ceiling fan. Bathrooms cleaned multiple times a day. Comfy beds with proper: mattresses and spotless sheets. They change bed sheets on request up to every two days and towels daily (I didn't need them changed this often but love the possibility to ask whenever you need). The owners very super kind and helpful. The live the hostel themselves, therefore they really treat it like home and are always available if you need something. Everyone I met here was nice and even though the hostel lacks a proper social area you'd often find someone sitting at the table outside to have a chat over a drink with.

We had no expectations when we arrived, but this place completely blew us away! The setting is stunning, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service—May & First went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The concept perfectly balances luxury and nature—think of it as a five-star tented camp experience. Waking up to the sunrise and winding down with the sunset here is simply next-level. If you’re looking for a unique, tranquil, and beautifully designed escape, this is it. Can’t recommend it enough!

This is the only review you need to read: The whole stay was amazing! The guy we spoke to most goes by the name Art, he was absolutely brilliant, always went above and beyond for us and made us feel so welcomed. He even came from his home to fix the Wi-Fi (only had this issue once in the whole 30 days). The pool is cleaned frequently, there are 4 sun beds in total, the building is modern and well looked after. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful always say good morning, good night etc. The lady who cleaned our room went by the name May, she was very sweet and done a great job, the room was always up to standard & towels were changed every day. There’s plenty of cutlery (plates, bowls, forks, wine glass, coffee cups etc) Do note you have to pay water & electricity bill separate but it’s not expensive it was around €50 for our 30 day stay, we plugged everything out when not in use as we were aware of this before our stay. Art brought us some Thai snacks as our stay came to an end and really made sure we ended on a high. I couldn’t fault the place if I tried lol. The location is no more than 7 minutes walking from the beach, close to Big C supermarket and street food markets also.

We really enjoyed to stay in Twinpalms, room was big, fresh and clean, with a modern decorations. Service and hospitality were excellent. Location,pool and beach absolutely loved.
