We liked everything, the location was perfect for us, we had a car, and we wanted privacy, this was the perfect place. The view from our room was amazing, the food was reaaly good, the staff so friendly, the ocean amazing too, so beautiful, at low tide you can walk to Jambiani. At high tide you can swim near the hotel, big room. Near the hotel on the trees you can find monkeys.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Perfectly situated and beautifully decorated. The staff are all incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, the best we've ever tasted on Zanzibar. The staff were lovely and the food incredible! The room was big and the A/C coupled with a fan allowed us to use the fan at night and the A/C during the day. The pool was clean and really nice to swim in. Direct access to the beach was also very appreciated.

This accommodation was just fabulous. Such a perfect location , our room (Nutmeg) was right on the beach.It was so lovely falling asleep listening to the waves lapping ,and waking up to the beautiful sunrise . And The view from our balcony was just fantastic . There is a restaurant on site ,and bars and restaurants along the beach . Breakfast was delicious, so much choice , ( I particularly enjoyed the local porridge) and the staff were so attentive. You were really made to feel part of the family by everyone . The owners Beth and Dullah were great , so hospitable , always going above and beyond. They have recently taken over The Mango Tree House and made lots of improvements, and their future plans sound so exciting . We had stayed at a few other lovely accommodations around Zanzibar but this was my favourite by far, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay .
