I could say many things about this amazing property, starting with the beautiful rooms and the constant assistance by its super kind staff but to be honest I was particularly impressed by the location that is a real wonder of nature: this place is a paradise. I was upgraded in a Suite and I could enjoy one of the best sunset I can remember in recent times, not to mention the pristine beach. One special mention to the chef who assisted us personally and prepared some unforgettable Italian "spaghetti ai frutti di mare"!

The property is gorgeous, with great antique styling, clean and comfortable rooms, a great location outside of the chaos of Stone Town, but a 2 minute walk away, all around amazing hotel. And what made it even better was the staff, who were always incredibly friendly and very open to doing whatever necessary to make the guests feel at home, trying new recipes, etc. Absolutely recommend! Amazing historical building, decorated in a very stylish way creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. We appreciate support of Chedi from a breakfast restaurant. Fantastic sunset view and vibrant local beach next to the pool. Delicious breakfast with fresh coconut water. We are missing this place and people already.

Lucy and Gillead (the owners) were very helpful and friendly during my visit. Personable and helped arranged transfers for me to and from the airport, even at ungodly hours! Room was clean and comfortable.
