We spent nearly every day at either the pool or beach club, and we dined in all restaurants on property. I was also able to get in a round of golf, while my wife and daughters enjoyed the spa.

I was a little skeptical at first but found the website very attractive so decide to book and I wasn't disappointed at all. Very comfortable accommodation from the bed, pillows, robe, amenities. And the free electric bikes !!!

Brilliant service despite their IT going on the blink. Complementary upgrade of both rooms. Great food nearby and brilliant sunsets. Based on our 2 day experience I highly recommend this hotel.

Where do I start. Firstly I cannot write this review without giving a huge shout out to Sandra who is one of the lovely staff at Surf and Sand Resort - she made our trip extra special and sent some wine and cheese up to our room and also booked Nobu for us which was incredible as it was impossible to get a booking otherwise. As soon as we walked in I felt like a celebrity. We were greeted with amazing staff on the front desk, they upgraded our room with a small fee which was so worth it. Without even going into the Hotel itself the staff make it the most amazing experience. This Hotel is the only one on Laguna beach which is on the sea front, you can hear the waves crashing - our room was right on the water. The food in the Hotel was impeccable, you seriously need to try the breakfast burrito & French toast - OMG! On our first night we went for dinner and the food and cocktails were insane! I would seriously go back every year to this Hotel if I could. Excited to visit again! It is always fully booked so we were so lucky to have got a room! The best Hotel I have visited for sure! also the pool was incredible !

The location was perfect. Great views all along the coast. Food was good. Staff were friendly and could not have been more helpful.

Beautiful room. Although the sea view from the room itself was quite restricted, outside the room was a large sitting area overlooking the sea with really comfortable cushioned seating, shade, candles, incense sticks, and just sitting quietly here listening to the waves was amazing and really recharging. Room was lovely with lots of little touches - shells, ceramics, decor. Shower great. Overall this was a great experience and wish I could have stayed longer. Oh, and they have free availability of chairs, parasols and towels for the beach. Would def stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights during our 2 week California road trip and it was by far and away our favourite hotel! The atmosphere was very chilled and the design of both the public areas and our room was so cool. Every detail had been considered and it felt so special and relaxing to stay there. Our room was lovely and was so clean and comfortable; the staff were fantastic, so welcoming and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious! The location was excellent too as it was not right in the most busy part of town but was just a short stroll in to the restaurants and bars along a pretty path overlooking the ocean. We both agreed that we want to come back to stay here again - and there's no greater praise than that! Just perfect!
