Having my economy room upgraded to an oceanfront studio by Jessica immediate set the tone for an exceptional stay at Alouette. Even if the room had not been immaculately clean; even if the on site cafe did not serve a wonderful hot breakfast; even if the location had not been so well located—the Alouette Sunrise rooms would still garner rave reviews. The beach is right there, out your back door—the sound of the waves lull you to sleep at night. The room was spacious and well equipped with a kitchenette, and nicely appointed with granite in the bath and soothing neutral tones and simple furnishings—and a private deck to enjoy those incredible sunrises and sunsets.

We liked just about everything about the inn. The staff were lovely and the inn was just charming old world. Loved the large wicker chairs on the decks and the absolutely gorgeous sitting room with its big fire.
