We were pleasantly surprised by the river view from our room. The homestay is right by the river and there are floats and paddle boards that you can take into the river for free (or you could just jump in and swim!). We did that one evening & it was one of the best experiences we had just chilling on the river and taking in the splendid views. One night, the host invited us and other guests to join her family for dinner and drinks. It was very kind of them to include us in their family celebrations and not ask us to pay for anything. The homestay is quite far out but the host picked us up from the city centre on two occasions when we arrived in Phong Nga and another time when we could not get a Grab back. She also arranged a tour to the Dark Cave for us, which was absolutely amazing and fuss-free. Breakfast is included where you get a choice between eggs or pancakes!

This property was absolutely perfect. In a great location, spotless clean, comfortable and the host & family were so nice to us. They helped us with everything we needed and more. My stay here was absolutely awesome. All the travelers that were there were like a small family to me. Even the owner picked me up from the bus for free and took every guest to their buses for free as well. Dinner was delicious, they can make vegan food with tofu and rice. Also, it has some hammocks next to the river and the views are great. I would have stayed for a week if I could!

Fantastic relaxing atmosphere. Nice and quiet. Mister Ha is the perfect host - very helpful in all matters. The staff is very kind and serviceminded. Carambola located direct at the river with perfect view. Swimming and kayaking is possible. Tours to different caves easy from here. Pick up at Carambola.
