The hotel is in a great quiet location and you can reach everything on foot. What we liked the most is that the rooms are really clean and the staff is not only friendly but also VERY helpful so you can always be sure that they would do their best to solve any problems or any other inquiries. It was not easy for the staff at the time of our arrival because of the recently passed typhoon. Overall we were really happy with the price and quality of this hotel.

Review for Ha Long Essence Boutique Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ha Long Essence Boutique Hotel, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and professionalism. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in every corner is impressive. One of the highlights for me was the hot water and the fabulous walk-in shower—it was pure bliss after a long day exploring. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I also loved that the windows could be opened, allowing fresh air and a lovely breeze into the room. The hotel is in a safe and charming neighborhood with everything you could possibly need nearby. Papa’s Barbecue, just down the street, was a delicious treat, and the beach is within walking distance—a huge plus! For those looking for a bit of nightlife, the Valley Beach nightclub is nearby and always lively. The hotel lobby is handsomely decorated, adding to the overall welcoming vibe, and I must mention the elevator—it always seemed to be on my floor, which felt like a stroke of luck every time! This hotel truly offers a perfect base for exploring Ha Long Bay, as it’s easy to get to everywhere. My stay was amazing, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Just about everything was perfect with the Halong Land Hotel. Our stay was wonderful as we were there to be near the Bay with lovely views. It was very clean, the owners were friendly and helpful, the shower was great, the bed was comfortable, the wifi was great, breakfast was good, and the room could be cooled or heated as needed. We wished we didn't need to leave! FYI: the Tuan Chau area has fewer services and some of the new-ish buildings even appear to be abandoned before completion. That's not to fault the hotel, though. It actually made for a peaceful stay. Use Grab or Xanh to go to the mainland (Hanoi) for food, ATMs, etc.
