Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. She gave great suggestions for places to eat and buy groceries. The beds were wonderful and all the conveniences in the room were perfect. Our room had a view right over the lake and it was beautiful! I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Hotel Peter offers comfortable and quiet rooms with balcony and terrace, affording wonderful, direct views of the lake and the mountains. This hotel is not really what we expected. Our room was very cozy, spacious and extremely comfortable. Keep inind though this hotel is an old one, recently renovated, some things remained old. The view from the room is spectacular and an experience in itself. The breakfast was one of the best we ever had in any hotel. You are able to make your own fresh squizzed juice from the choice of vegetables and fruit and the food has been beautifully presented and delicious. Also the restaurant is amaxing, with spectacular view, extremely cozy. It is a very dreamy, romantic, relaxing and cozy hotel. We will definitely return just to stay in there.

We were even happier after hearing we are getting a free upgrade to a better room. The room was very clean and had stunning views of the lake. The bed was very comfortable. At the breakfast table we had a great view of the lake and the breakfast-buffet offered a large selection. The available underground car park was very convenient. The highlight was the wellness area, which was accessible through a underground tunnel. The outdoor pools are comfortably warm (34 degrees) and the finish saunas are great. We really enjoyed sunbathing in the textile and textile free area, we felt very comfortable due to great sight protection. The privat access to the lake was also very cool and calming.

Au 10 and St. Wolfgang are amazing. The apartment is huge and modern with a large living room, kitchen with all the amenities, large bedroom w/ comfy bed, wardrobe, large bathroom w/ 2 sinks. There is a washer/dryer on the street level to use. Plus a wrap around balcony where you can see the lake, mountains and just look down the road entering town. Thomas, met us for check-in&out was a very wonderful host for us who responded promptly to questions. We received a Wolfgansee card and a mobility card that allows free use of public transportation within the region, including in Salzburg. There is a nice app that takes your location and gives you the option and time frames for public transport. If you get the print version of the card, don’t make the mistake we made and think the Wolfgangsee card covers both. There is a (paid) ferry on the lake. We took that in the morning to St. Gilgen, walked around there, took the bus down to Strobl, had a meal there then took the bus back to St. Wolfgang, where the bus station is 2 minute walk from the apartment. St. Wolfgang, itself, is incredibly charming – the best of the towns around the lake. We ate dinner out there every night. As there is “on the other end of town” a resort/conference center, so there are a surprising number of restaurants for the size of the town. We enjoyed our meals at each one of them, especially eating at sunset overlooking or next to the lake. Walking through the various streets, which are winding, is just delightful. Also, the church in town has 2 spectacular altars due to the historical significance of the town and St. Wolfgang’s connection.
