Bönigen is a lovely suburb itself and great for taking short walks around - it's just a half-hour walk to Wilderswill from where we took a train to Lauterbrunnen. It's also a short bus ride to Interlaken, with the bus stop being right next to the hotel. The local taxis were quick to respond to calls when we needed them during our trips in and out of Interlaken OST, as it was raining both times and we had a bit of luggage. The Italian food in the in-house restaurant is amazing.

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The studio was very close to Lake Brienz, with beautiful views of the area. It was very clean and nicely decorated, with new appliances and a spacious bathroom. Our host was very gracious and helpful, driving us to the train station on our checkout date when it was raining. She also gave us excellent suggestions on areas to visit - something very useful as it was the first time we visited Switzerland. We will definitely stay there again if a future opportunity arises.
