The luxurious Park Hotel Vitznau right at the banks of Lake Lucerne has been entirely renovated in 2012 and 2013 and features its own private beach, 2 restaurants, a large spa area and free garage parking. The breakfast was a la carte, and very quick. The surprise call when we were boarding the ferry to inform of the complimentary pick up was wonderful, (I'd somehow missed this option). The walk up through the forest behind the hotel was lovely. Most importantly the room, hotel and spa facilities were incredible.

In the summer months guest enjoy free access to the heated outdoor pool of the neightbouring hotel Beau Rivage. My stay here was only for one night, but the hospitable hosts made it very comfortable and unforgettable. My room was large, with a large bathroom and a lovely terrace. The hotel has a restaurant by the lake with stunning views and serves delicious dishes grilled by the hosts in front of gests. Beatifull beach with sun loungers and access to lake. Lovely breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel and wish to come back again. Thanks!
