Lina and Victor's friendliness is always available to help, provide information about the island, the best restaurants and places to visit. Victor took us for a walk around the island, he was our guide. Some fantastic people. The couple's children were also very friendly. We will definitely have to go back on vacation

The lady, she is really something, loved that she folds my laundry, she is the soul of this place, that's why she is all over the place with her pictures with clients, I didn’t understand that when I checked in, but now I know.

Situated within 700 metres of Praia Da Laginha and 1.1 km of Torre de Belem, Orietta Residencial features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Mindelo. The property has city and inner courtyard views, and is less than 1 km from Capvertdesign Artesanato. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I chose Orietta Residencial based on exceptional other reviews, mentioned facilities and friendly atmosphere, and proximity to the Port (for travel to Santo Antao), main streets of Mindelo, and Laginha Beach. In all cases this was a fantastic choice. The Italian couple who run Orietta, and their team, are unbelievably friendly and helpful with a determination to make even the smallest stay perfect. The location is on a quiet street very close to everything, and with an amazing interior courtyard. The top terrace overlooking the pool is a nice relaxed sunny spot for breakfast but also to work and in the evening to have a few drinks during sunset. It is cooler and less rushed and noisy than the rest of Mindelo, away from some of the hassles in town. The room was cool, very tidy, with everything you need, including a marble bathroom with a large, reliable shower. Everything was spotlessly tidy and clean and the terrace area is perfectly designed to allow guests to feel at home and to easily relax. As the hosts also made is possible for me to arrive early (from the airport) and leave late (for the port), I can say with certainty their only focus is the well being of guests. From walking round Mindelo I can also say with certainty they have the best place!

Featuring a bar and views of city, Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo, 1.2 km from Praia Da Laginha. A hot tub and a car rental service are available for guests. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. This was the best accommodation we had in Cabo Verde (between S. Vicente and Sto. Antão). We stayed here first one night and on the return from Santo Antão we stayed 2 more nights. The staff is really great and friendly. The hotel has just a good size: 11 rooms. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable, hot water worked well as well as wi-fi. TV is more complicated but the staff will explain to you. There are two terraces, one at the reception level and one on the rooftop (where's also a hot tub - jacuzzi). Breakfasts were excellent, with eggs cooked on demand, good fruits and cereals, great coffee, cakes, etc. (and the staff here again so friendly). I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy some privacy, with few guests and to be just in the city centre. We were so happy coming back here after staying 8 nights in Santo Antão.

Casa JPi is located on the seafront in São Pedro, 100 metres from Sao Pedro Beach and 12 km from Torre de Belem. Featuring full-day security, this property also has a restaurant and a sun terrace. The guest house features family rooms. Everything! We stayed there for only one night, but if we could redo our vacation we would stay there for at least 3 nights. The location is idyllic. You can go snorkeling with the turtles right outside your door. There is an amazing view over the ocean from the shared balcony. JP is the perfect host. He carried our luggage, offered to do our laundry, arranged a taxi for us, etc. His hospitality was never ending! The accommodation was of superb quality, according to European standards. Great shower, good bed, everything was spotlessly clean. Towels and even washcloths are provided.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. This is such a gem and the people are amazing with kind hearts and so helpful. It’s such a wonderful find in Sao Vicente !!!

All units at the guest house are fitted with a seating area. Every unit comes with a coffee machine, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while certain rooms are fitted with a balcony and some have sea views. At the guest house, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Really comfortable space, inside and out. Christina was super friendly and helpful during our entire stay and kept herself available throughout our visit. The rooftop patio and accessible fridge/kitchen space was super convenient during our stay as well.

The apartment provides guests with a balcony, sea views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and a hair dryer. A toaster, a fridge and stovetop are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the apartment complex, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. I loved everything about the accommodations from the location, the space, the breakfast and the comfort. But the thing I liked the most was the hospitality of the owners. Celestina and Carlos went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I would not hesitate to return.

A selection of activities are offered in the area, such as horse riding, windsurfing and diving. Our hosts were beyond welcoming and helpful, they made us feel like Mindelo is home. The place is comfortable and has everything necessary for an enjoyable stay (and the terrace is great). We will be back, deus quiser :)

Kira's Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo. For a fee, Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. The property offers excursions and guided tours in the surrounding. Everyone who worked there was so kind. We loved the location and the outdoor spaces. Close to beach and to good restaurants as well as the live music.
