Very friendly and solicit staff, very comfortable room and facilities around, we had access the kitchen and to free stand up paddles. Communal space was very clean and looked after. Located just across the road to restaurants and shops.

The warmth and kindness of the staff was the highlight of the stay. They truly go above and beyond to help guests feel welcome. Throughout the stay, all of the staff are accommodating and find ways to fulfill your requests. Around the property, the staff would stop to check on you and see if you needed anything. Being a solo traveler, I felt safe during the entire stay. I arrived before the regular check-in time and there was just a short wait before they were able to move me into the room I reserved. As part of check-in, they set up a WhatsApp chat with you so that you can make requests (spa, meal orders, schedule transfers, etc.). Responses were prompt and Chris even sent the daily activities schedule, which helped me plan my day. The property is small and low key, which makes it a good place for disconnecting and relaxing. The room I reserved was one of the oceanfront villas. The view from the deck and inside the villa was lovely. The king size bed was very comfortable and there is an air conditioning unit up above. Staff were always busy maintaining the property, keeping the walkways and open spaces very clean. The flowers around the garden were so healthy and beautiful. Activities The activities were well thought out. They included water activities, reef walks, a waterfall hike, cultural demonstrations and also offered massages. The guides, Aku and Felix, lead a snorkel through corals that are alive, beautiful and teeming with colorful fish. There are so many bright blue fish as well as clown fish and others. Aku and Felix point out sea cucumbers, urchins, clams and starfish along the way. The reef walk was fascinating as well. Many thanks to all the staff at Maui Palms, Aku, Felix, Matai, Sonali, Vasiti, Neel, Chris and others for being so friendly and welcoming. My only regret was that I didn't stay longer. Very cute and comfortable house, great views of the ocean and a short distance to the store. The house is complete with anything I think you would need for your stay, the outside area is full of trees and flowers making its a cozy retreat.

An amazing view from the balcony, clean, spacious, well equipped and perfectly maintained by the most lovely host/family. We were provided complimentary fresh local fruit and coconuts. They were happy to assist with any inquiry. To wake up to lush and green surroundings and nature sounds bring peace of mind. The location was easy to find and great for exploring more with local buses passing nearby.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the holiday home's outdoor fireplace. 1. friendly host Ken and very flexible with the check out time. we really appreciate that we could check out late as our flight was close to midnight 2. The unit is comfortable, we didn’t cook but just use kettle and fridge. ac works and shower pressure is very strong 3. The property is nice with trees/ herbs. we even got a sweet papaya and lemon grass and mint from Ken’s garden 4. we took bus from Nadi, you can checkout sunbeam/pacific bus line for schedule, ( cost 13 fjd) you can get off at Maui bay road. and it’s only 10 min walk to Ken’s place or ken can pick you up and give you a quick introduction of the area. We got take away fish and chips at the restaurant near the jetty and you can buy beer at the liquor land. 5. bring mosquito spray and shampoo/shower gel 6. only cash for the accommodation We enjoyed our last day in Fiji at Ken’s place. thanks fellow canadian🍁
