Matacawalevu
Situated in Matacawalevu, Ravita Cove HomeAway from Home HomeStay offers accommodation with access to a public bath. Set on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, an open-air bath and a garden. The homestay features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. If you came to this page, you are looking for an experience close to the people of the Yasawa islands. You will find it here much more than at any resort. You will stay at a single house with 3 rooms, no other houses or hotels nearby with which to share the beach. The lovely people of the house will take you on many adventures, from visiting the local village where some of them live to the famous Sawa-I-Lau Caves. We even had the fortune to assist the first instalment of a yearly rugby tournament to which teams from all over and even the main island joined. A big shout out to Chef Sai who everyday whipped up from scratch very tasty and varied meals. She's the motherly figure of the house. Many of the ingredients are locally grown in the garden or sourced from the sea nearby. There is internet and it was workable most of the time, weaker on cloudy days, keeping in mind that you are on an island with little infrastructure. Overall, we loved our stay here. It was everything we expected and more!

A gorgeous little resort. The most relaxed i've ever felt.
The dorm room cottages were absolutely beautiful. Only 4 to a room. Amazing outdoor shower. Shower under the stars.
The staff made me feel so welcome and at home. I slept wonderfully. Jay brought us to some amazing Snorkelling spots. The cava ceremony with Elenoa was beautiful. Stunning sunsets.

I have been fortunate enough to travel the world for over 20 years, but I have never experienced a welcome as warm and genuine as the one I received here. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel like family. Every person was so kind, attentive, and always ready to help—not in a pushy way, but with a quiet, thoughtful presence that made us feel truly at home. There was no pressure to buy anything or do anything we didn’t want to; they were simply there for us, whenever we needed them.
What truly stood out was the sense of connection and authenticity. It wasn’t just about being guests in a resort—it was about becoming part of a community. We spent hours chatting, laughing, and learning about each other’s cultures. Everything felt natural, and we became more than just visitors—we became friends.
Our kids felt completely embraced by the local people. They roamed freely around the resort, playing and interacting with the community, which gave us the true Fijian experience we were hoping for. The genuine warmth and acceptance we felt here are something we will cherish forever.
I have to mention the unforgettable moment when they sang us a goodbye song. It was the first time in my life I almost cried when leaving a place, not because of the departure itself, but because of the beautiful people who had made our stay so special. You could tell that their kindness was not just part of their job, but a reflection of who they truly are. They made us feel so valued, never once making us feel like we were asking for too much.
My dear Fijian friends, you truly exceeded all our expectations. We would come back in a heartbeat if we didn’t live so far away. But as they say, “never say never.” My son, Filip, already said that when he grows up, he will bring his family back to this paradise.
Thank you again for giving us 5 unforgettable days. We miss you already.

The staff was super friendly. The owner, Dean, went out of his way to help us out. The bartender, Lucy, was very attentive. We took a trip over to the Sawa-i-Lau Cave). It was beautiful. We enjoyed being able to take the kayaks out further than just in front of the resort as some resorts wouldn't let you go very far, and we felt it was pointless to kayak at the other resorts. The food was good. There's a nice hike you can take with a beautiful view.
Tavewa
Set within a tropical garden of coconut palms and surrounded by turquoise water, Coconut beach Resort directly overlooks the world famous Blue Lagoon in the Yasawa Islands. The resort has a beachfront bar and a dining room. Such a genuine warm welcome and continued care and love at all times. No crowds of noisy tourists here, just peace and quiet and beauty, and all the food and activities that you need. More like a large homestay than a hotel, but very professionally managed. No selection/buffet-style meals, just a pre-planned set menu but this is displayed the day before and you are welcome to negotiate with the chef if you want changes.

Boasting a waterfront location, Paradise Cove Resort features over 200 metres of private beach area. Surrounded by a garden landscape, this property offers a day spa, an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. We loved this beautiful Resort. The wonderful beach, the exceptional facilities, the friendly staff. Especially the Manager Alfie. The moment we stepped on the beach from blue lagoon cruise ship, we immediately impressed by the friendly atmosphere and its beautiful surroundings. Although unfortunately My husband got stomach bug the very night after we landed and ended up too sick for us to enjoy the resort during our very short stay. We left resort with great appreciate for the great care and support from the Manager Alfie. His caring and calm manner greatly eased my worries as I was concerned more serious situation it might be. We highly recommended that truly paradise. We think about revisiting in the future to enjoy what we had missed this time.

Nalauwaki - 6 miles from beach
The restaurant has a sand floor and open-air dining areas boasting stunning beach views. It offers meals using local produce and fresh seafood. There is a breakfast buffet featuring a ‘build your own omelette’ station. The entire atmosphere of the resort was exceptional, the food was amazing and fresh, the entire staff made us feel like we were part of their family. There were so many things to do each day and it just felt like a second home
Matayalevu
Navutu Stars Resort is the only boutique resort on the secluded island of Yaqeta, with just 9 beachfront bungalows spread along 3 pristine white-sand beaches. Continental breakfast is included each morning. The bure and facilities were amazing. The staff put lots of effort into making me feel comfortable and to make the resort a memorable stay. All the staff were extremely friendly and I could tell they enjoyed their work and spending time with each other.

Beautiful, peaceful stay right on the beach! All the staff members were so welcoming and friendly, and the food was phenomenal. I spent four wonderful days here; it was the only place I stayed at in Fiji and I'm so happy with my choice.
It was right on the beach with a great house reef right in front of the resort. Lots of delicious food!
The location and outlook of the property is spectacular. Our Bure was huge and had a full separate lounge area and patio, right on the beach. The staff were fantastic and made you feel so at home. The trail up the mountain behind the property was an unexpected highlight for the most amazing sunset viewing.
Our stay was magical. We slept in a bure on the beachfront which was simple but very comfortable. The food was varied and super tasty, and the offerings at the shop are very reasonably priced. There are a range of activities or some hammocks for lots of relaxing. But the best part of our stay were the staff. The friendliest and most welcoming people, who shared everything and made us feel so at home. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return.
Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at Wai Makare. Jay and Emily were very welcoming and we had a great time relaxing in the hammocks (right on the beach - like a postcard), eating the delicious food and participating in many activities. We especially enjoyed the village trip (1/2 hr each way by boat), learning to weave baskets and bookmarks, spearfishing, coconut husking, and playing volleyball with the young men each evening, and some great games of cards with Jay in the evenings. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Better then a commercial resort because you get to truly experience Fijian hospitality. Located right on the beach with a stunning backdrop. The food was worth splurging on. Would highly recommend.
Our bure was right on the beach which was fabulous. The food was good - plentiful, lots to choose from and quite tasty. Except for the Fijian night, dinner was a la carte. Particularly enjoyed the Fijian night which included meat cooked in a pit (hangi style) and cava drinking. Coral was lovely and there was a nice walk on the island to the summit. The bull shark dive was amazing. Being older, I asked them to look after me and I did practically nothing - VIP treatment. A percentage of the profits go the islanders.
Oarsman's Bay Lodge is literally paradise. We saw a lot of other reviews say that before we visited but we can attest to that after having experienced it for ourselves. With beautiful clear waters, stunning coral life, gorgeous sunsets, amazing beachfronts and the friendliest staff, we couldn't bear to leave this place. The food was really amazing as well! Would highly recommend doing some hiking and visiting the village to soak in the most of what this beautiful island has to offer.
The location is absolutely spectacular. The lodge is right on the beachfront on a beautiful bay with a sizeable coral reef in short distance from the shore. There are lots of activities and trips to choose from each day (some paid and some free) and all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, we were made to feel right at home. The food was excellent, all freshly made and prepared with local ingredients. We would love to come back when we can. Vinaka vakalevu! 😊🙏🙌
