The sea is only 1.5 km away. Charming, beautiful little hideaway in Honfleur. Comfortable beds, lovely breakfast, charming hostess. We stayed in the loft and it was perfect for our family of four. It’s hard to find places with three beds for parents and older teen boys; the loft was perfect for us.

Our garden room had outdoor seating. there were many indoor rooms for relaxing or drinking. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was outstanding. It has everything you could want to eat. The staff was all friendly.

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Outdoor furniture is available for guests to relax or dine outside. We had a huge, beautiful bedroom and bathroom overlooking the garden in this stunning chateau. Rodolphe and Maxence were wonderful hosts and a highlight of the stay was the breakfast each morning around the large table in a tastefully furnished room. Adjoining this room was a lounge for guests, with books and guides for the area, tea and coffee facilities and treats! Bernières-sur-Mer is a lovely village and close to many sites of interest. It is especially well-located for visiting the D-day landing beaches and associated museums and memorials in the area - the memorial museum in Caen was a particular highlight. It was also very easy to reach Bayeux, which was beautiful. There are bikes available at La Maison and we spent one day visiting some of the beaches along the cycle path, which was very special.
