The area is popular with cycling and there are accessible cycle paths nearby. St Brelade Bay is 1.9 km from Porthole Suites, popular for beach and water sports. Jersey Airport is 3.5 km from the property. This is an excellent place to stay in a quiet part of St Aubin but very close to all the restaurants and the harbour. Portholes is a short way up a hill and has an accessible carpark opposite and available at no charge.A supermarket is at the foot of the hill as is the bus stop so everything is very nearby. The suite itself is quite roomy and beautifully presented. The filtered views of the harbour are great and an impressive feature is the ability to use a well equipped kitchen. There is a laundry available to guests and this was an asset for us. We debated about getting a hire car and were glad that we did as we had plenty of freedom to travel around this quite remarkable island. That said, the buses seemed to work well. We were very pleased with the location, which was still quite close to St Helier. We would happily return.

Situated in the centre of St Brelade’s Bay, Beau Rivage offers self-catering suites with en-suite facilities and free WiFi. Guests have direct access to the beachfront, which offers windsurf hire, beach cafés and restaurants. Plenty of room for two of us and a 3 month old. Staff were fantastic, helpful and checked in regularly (at reception) as to how we were getting on and if they could do any more. Parking space reserved

Located in a hill, in the pretty coastal village of St Aubin, The Panorama offers well-appointed rooms around 3.2 km from Jersey Airport. With fine sea views, it offers free WiFi and has public parking nearby.

Please be aware that this property is located in an elevated position with steps and slopes in the terrace garden leading to the Seafront Promenade. We enjoyed our time at the Panorama immensely due to the friendly, welcoming and professional staff. The whole building oozes elegance and atmosphere. Our room was well appointed and had the most spectacular view over the bay of St Aubin. St. Aubin is the perfect place to stay, it has plenty of restaurants, some shops and a good bus connection to other parts of the island, but is a bit more quaint and quiet than big sister St Helier, which lies at the other side of the bay. Breakfast was excellent with a menu to choose from and food cooked to order. The quality of the breakfast dishes was superb! The garden was well maintained and there was coffee and tea in the conservatory all day. Communication before and during our stay was also excellent.

On the harbour at St Aubin, the Old Court House Inn provides luxurious rooms and a restaurant and bar on Jersey’s southern coast. This inn enjoys stunning sea views and is close the village’s shops, cafés and pubs. Warm welcoming from the reception and helpful staff. Great location.

Discovery Bay is a 4-star property situated in St Ouen's, facing the sea. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 80 metres from St.Ouen's Bay Beach. Parking on-site is available and the apartment also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. We stayed in Apartment No. 8 the upstairs one facing the front of the building with the two balconies. It was exceptionally clean with lovely furniture, great comfortable beds, white bedlinen, and huge white towels. There were five adults and one 8 year old child. The apartment has a good size living/kitchen room with a double couch bed, a big bathroom with a fantastic shower and two bedrooms. The large one was for my daughter, her husband and their son Jake. Vicky had a camp bed put in for Jake. Myself and my husband had the smaller twin room and my son had the couch. Now Vicky told us that it would be a bit of a squeeze and I really appreciated this information but as we were a family we were fine. We enjoyed having the balconies with the beautiful view of The Wetlands Centre and St. Quens Beach behind us with the most amazing sunsets each evening. Vicky, Natalie and Joe were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They even left Milk and bottles of Water for us and they were really friendly while we were there. We had our breakfast every morning behind the building in Sands Beach Cafe which is run by the same family. The food was fantastic with freshly squeezed orange juice and all at a reasonable price. The staff were lovely in the cafe. Communication with everyone was excellent from the moment I booked - Thank you to Vicky and Natalie who always answered my queries. We loved our holiday in this lovely building and we will return again as we were visiting my Son and his family who live on the island. Many thanks to Natalie, Joe, and Vicky for a fantastic stay.

The Aquadome Leisure Centre has pools, fully equipped gym and the unique Flowrider surf machine at The Merton Hotel is just 15 minutes’ walk away. At last a hotel with decent lighting in the room. A designated space to sit in front of a mirror with great lighting and a plug socket to get ready at. The little things are important. Bed was so comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Longueville Manor is in 18 acres of private woodland with its own tennis court, croquet lawn and jogging trails, just a mile from St Helier Beach. The hotel stands in its own grounds and has a good size pool and area for lounging on a warm sunny day. The room was spacious, well appointed, quiet and very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with nothing too much trouble, they project a happy, efficient team whilst retaining a high degree of professionalism.
