We stayed here as a family with three children (ages 15, 9, and 3), along with myself, my husband, and my sister — and it was such a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone. The caravan was spotless, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic, perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, giving us extra time for check-out, which was a big help when traveling with children. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Location was stunning and the accommodation was spacious, clean and suited all purposes but the star of the show was host, Frank. So helpful throughout the whole process and a pleasure to deal with. He made life so easy which isn't always the case we find on work trips but he went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. I can't thank him enough or recommend him / the accommodation highly enough! I would like to think I will return in future and would 100% try to stay here again if so.

Our stay was wonderful. Our host, Anne, was kind and always willing to help, even when we asked her to raise the heating one evening! The place is in a great location, near a bus stop, a supermarket, and the sea, which was our main highlight. We loved staying close (a short bus ride) to the city centre but away from it; we visited during the holiday season, and everywhere in the city centre was crowded. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Anne thought of everything: besides the essentials, there were games, maps, some welcome chocolates, and a lovely small Christmas tree to cheer us up during our visit. We will certainly stay in Anne's place again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. Royal Yacht Britannia is 31 km away and National Museum of Scotland is 32 km from the holiday home. Loved the unit. Nice and clean and quiet. It had everything you needed including a few coffees, snack and cleaning supplies. Loved the fireplace. So sweet and nice touch. Convenient to the train too. Just a stones throw away. Great resources for surrounding area too. Owners were top notch!

The property features quiet street views and is 90 metres from Portobello Beach and 4.5 km from Arthurs Seat. Royal Yacht Britannia is 6.5 km from the guest house and Royal Mile is 6.6 km away. The hosts, Chris and Sinead, were fabulous, very friendly and helpful. The homemade shower gel was really lovely to use also. The location, about 25min by bus from Edinburgh was just what we wanted, quiet and close to the beach. The bus stop was only a 2min walk away but we had no traffic noise.

A number of activities are offered in the area, such as windsurfing and diving. Omni Centre is 3.2 km from Another Room, while Edinburgh Festival Theatre is 3.4 km away. The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, 14 km from the property. Public transportation is excellent is Edinburg and Another Room is right across the street from a bus stop. Our hosts were very helpful with advise on how to us the bus system. A day pass was only $5 and we really took advantage of it. Breakfast was cooked to order with all traditional Scottish items available.
