The location is a bit out of the centre and so it's quiet, but still easy walking distance to the center. The apartment was spacious, luminous and well equipped with a sofa bed, kitchen etc. The shower was very good and we had a lot of towels, also for the beach. Zorana, the owner, was super friendly, helpful and generous: we could do our laundry, she offered to pick us up (which we didn't need), let us use the gym which they are constrcuting, gave us tips for our visit and more. We recommend it wholeheartedly and would love to come back.

This recently renovated apartment is located less than 1 km from Franciscan Monastery Beach and a 6-minute walk from Harbour of Hvar. The apartment features family rooms. Villa Porta Maestra was the best apartment we have ever rented. It was lovely. The sofa and chairs were beautiful and very comfortable as were the beds. We were very appreciative of the Nespresso coffee machine (our favorites at each of our homes). We didn't cook, but bought Croatian cheeses and meats for a few dinners. The views from the windows were breathtaking. No matter which window we looked from had a perfect view. Stefani went out of her way to help us get our bags up to the apartment and went with my husband to park the car, as the apartment was in a car free area. She also insisted that she help us with our bags on our return to the car. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Porta Maestra. Hvar is a beautiful city and we really enjoyed our walks and very good restaurants.
