Having stayed at many 5-star properties around the world in Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, New York - our room at Thistledown Lodge was furnished to exceptional satisfaction and did not disappoint one bit. We'd upgraded to the bigger room with a bath and shower so we had plenty of space even if we stayed in one of the evenings whilst it rained. Being vegetarian guests with special dietary requirements, we were well taken care of by the hosts with wholemeal toasts, fresh orange juice, potato waffles, vegan sausages, vegan black pudding, baked beans and mushrooms. Everything at this property including their breakfast was served at an exceptional standard and you can see the attention to detail with the amenities on offer like branded cutlery, plating methods, quality of food produce etc.

The apartment is located in the centre of town so my parents had easy access to everything. The apartment itself was spotless and the owner was very communicative about check in instructions and even left them a lovely bottle of wine!
