Slightly out of the busy area made it easy to see the northern lights. All that for a very affordable price.

Full of character, beautiful location and views, very comfortable room with a relaxed atmosphere and privacy. Our host was incredibly hospitable and made us feel so welcome, thank you. And we especially enjoyed meeting all of the animals, it was a lovely highlight to our stay!

Every room has a patio with garden views. Beautiful property with mountain view. Enjoyed the peaceful countryside, complete with sheep! Very well equipped for making our own meals. Lots of central living space and a nice deck. Very comfortable beds. Blackout curtains were much appreciated. Liked being able to separate the 2 twin beds.

Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Vik is 41 km away. the staff were fantastic in all areas of the hotel. The hotel in general exceeded our expectations whether it was the games and books in common areas to the exceptional food in the restaurant. The hotel is also a close walk to the black sand beach with a short 10/15 min walk. One of the best hotel finds on our trip with the staff looking after our little 2 year old Austen like family :)

My family and I recently had a wonderful stay at Guðrún’s place in Vik. The location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to local attractions. The host was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. They even provided homemade waffle mix, jam and cheese, which were absolutely delicious and a lovely touch. The property was spotless and very well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything needed for cooking. The furnishings were tasteful and cozy, making the space feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend Guðrún’s place for anyone visiting Vik!
