But kind of quiet that I am also quite worry about. The room is big and can accommodate 4 of us. The owner left a bicycle in the house for us to cycle but I don't know how to cycle. The owner of the house took care most of the stuff in the house.

The asian breakfast was superb, i went downstairs to 2F and it was waiting for me with a ticket with my name 🥰 The staff was kind and friendly and very helpful. I loved the cozy and personal atmosphere, and the view of the sea/harbor from my room was amazing.

The ryokan features family rooms. My husband declared our room at Taikourou the nicest we had in Japan. It was comfortable , in traditional style ( but with mattresses on raised platforms) , filled with light and fresh air , with a wonderful view of the park and swing bridge. Having a couple of comfortable chairs to sit and take in the view was wonderful. Dinners at this ryokan were wonderful and used seasonal ingredients. We love the experience of these traditional meals. There was also a lovely onsen - small but then I did have it to myself so no problem. I can’t end this review without mentioning the staff who were so kind and helpful. There was one woman in particular who went out of her way to help us understand the meals, ensured we had everything we needed and just generally she was so positive in our interactions.

The whole house is beautifully appointed, the bathroom was fantastic, and the bath size is very generous. We loved the massage chair and the relaxed feel of sitting around the kitchen island. You can stroll along the ocean nearby and the location is so quiet and peaceful.

This ryokan offers free private parking and luggage storage space. Tango Kokubunji Ruins is 8.7 km from the ryokan and Tango Regional Museum of Contemporary Art is 8.8 km away. Due to language barrier, no fault of the staff, they did their best to answer my question and was friendly. The room was spacious, clean, had available items for me to use. There is no formal check in counter. They do provide instructions how to access your room via email. The room itself is not located where the photo you see online. Read what they send you via email. The location is so convenient. If you don’t have a lot of needs and you are self sufficient. This is the place is great to stay. Thank you Chitose, Amanohashidate is a beautiful seaside town.

Located 300 metres from Amanohashidate Beach, 珀 Haku in Miyazu provides rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. This recently renovated apartment is located 200 metres from Chionji Temple and 6.1 km from Yumikiro Castle Ruins. The apartment features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Beautiful property on the canal with lots of fine interior joinery construction details. A lovely place to hang after a long day of walking and biking. This is the one property where we wish we could have stayed longer!

Set in Miyazu, 2.2 km from Amanohashidate Beach and 500 metres from Myouryuji Temple, torch amano-hashidate offers a garden and air conditioning. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 600 metres from Daijyouji Temple. Exquisite location on the water with great views and well designed to optimize the views. Loved the washi paper on the walls, the bed was extra comfortable and the rooms were sizable. The bathroom was nice with a deep tub facing the water.

It was well located, everything was well thought out, Hamish was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was also a very peaceful and relaxing spot to spend a few days.

It’s a modernized traditional Japanese house with an onsen, whose owners did not spare any effort to make me comfortable, even driving me very early the next day so I can join my friends at their hotel in Miyazu and catch an early train to Kyoto. I wish I could have stayed longer in that dreamy place. Highly recommended.
