Staying at Hostel Saruya was such a pleasure . We stayed in the twin room and it exceeded our expectations. The fit out is so beautifully detailed, earthy tones which complemented the mountain view. The private access to the roof top was also a gorgeous and a great view of Fuji - wonderful to watch the sunrise and sunset. We would love to stay again one day.

First time experiencing glamping. It is a great experience for nature lovers. The view of Mount Fuji was beautiful. The sunrise the sunset was spectacular. Beds are comfortable, all the basic amenities are available. Great location. Less than 1 mins from the station. Very convenient.

Perfect location. It was amazing to be so close to this beautiful mountain and watch it changing throughout the day. The onsens both have the best views. One has a sauna and mist room and ice cold plunge pools. Rooms very comfortable with views of the mountain. The reception staff were amazing and helped us navigate the bus booking to Tokyo. Book ahead for dinner. All meals were very good.

The communicaton from the accomodation was excellent! The house was just what we needed for a rest. The view is hindered by the house in front but still you could see some of the lake and the sunset over the nearby mountain was so beautiful. We loved hanging out on the front porch. Also, we had a 1 yr old with us and the toys and kids books that were there were just perfect for her! It was easy to get to and close to everything. Would definitely stay there again!

The breakfast is super fantastic. The room is very clean and comfortable. They provide everything I need. The location is 5 mins walk from Hirano Beach so I can get up early to check out the sunrise in Mt Fuji.

I had such an amazing stay here! The host is super attentive and helpful - she is very detail-oriented! The house is beautiful, in a perfect location. I had the best shower of my life there, the body soap is literally the best I've tried haha The bed and sheets are SO comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! The host adapted the food for me as I don't eat meat. She even offered hot tea before bed. Such an amazing place! I can't wait be back!
