We met the manager who was a really lovely man and he made sure we got our early bus to Matara by providing a free tuk tuk. The restaurant attached was also fantastic. We ate there many times and everything was absolutely delicious. Arugam Bay is extremely quiet this time of year, but we enjoyed the peacefulness. Thank you to all at Arcadi Villas.

I ended up stay at this resort for two days. the scenery is stunning, very close to the beach. the accomodation is clean and comfortable while still being part of nature. the service is exceptional, the staff are willing to help with anything you need. the food was incredible, mostly itialian style food. the owner is italian so you can be assured that the food is authentic. the pizza's are amazing and made in the pizza oven on site. the property is also home two very friendly dogs and a adorable cat. I can say enough good things about this resort. 10/10 , would recommend!

Perfect location for the beach and restaurants. Mohammed is a wonderful, genuine, host who goes above and beyond to ensure you are happy and check if you need anything. He kindly brought us homemade cake each day, arranged surf lessons, changed money etc - nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend Lucky Bay if you come to Arugam Bay.

Staff and manager were super friendly, extremely helpful and took care that the place felt like home - and hands-down: best hotel food in our entire Sri Lanka round travel - looking forward to receiving your Dhal receipe :)

Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.
