Amazing restaurant (I had carbonara, as I craved for something that reminded me home) and it was great; 4. Lovely hosts and all staff - I woke up early and one of the staff saw me and brought me coffe to my cabaña 😍; If you go to Las Peñitas, don't think twice - and if rooms will be avaiable, book straight away, you will not find anything better in town.

At Alive Beach House each room includes air conditioning and a safety deposit box. I stayed at Alive Beach House for a few nights with my husband. The location is perfect — right on the beach, very quiet, and not crowded. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and relaxed. We joined the morning yoga classes at a very affordable price and it was really enjoyable. The food at the hotel was also good — fresh and healthy, with vegetarian and vegan options. If you want to relax and disconnect from the busy world, this is a great place. It’s simple but well organized, and we felt really comfortable the whole time

I really liked the hospitality, the comfort of the room, and the tranquility of the place. Everything was excellent, I would definitely come back.

Nibu is a slice of paradise. It has stunning views and was so cute. loved Gretal! She’s amazing, so sweet, so kind, and so caring. She is a fantastic cook as well. All the food was delicious. She also introduced me to her family and gave me a few rides. One was to get my bus and another to Nimbu after the sun had set. I enjoyed practicing my Spanish with her as well. 10/10

Jon, Janelle and Lenny's (the boss dog!) place is well worth the stay. Their hospitality is warm, friendly and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. The common area and kitchen are really well stocked with cookware, and there's a little grocery store across the street as well as in the town. We loved the viewing deck for lounging in the day. The AC cost (if you use it) is also below the going rate for using AC in Nicaragua, and the ceiling fans / windows move the air around really well. We've been to El Transito a few times and it's by far one of the best deals / places to stay, we're going back again in a few days! You can also ask then questions about what to do and how to get around, they know the area very well and are really helpful.
