She was very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. There were some complementary snacks: sugar-glazed almonds and two cartons with fruit juice. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean and had everything (a fully equipped kitchen, bathrobes (which were very om point, considering the fact the weather was very cold for the end of May, and it was a bit chilly in the evenings), a fridge with a freezer, a hair drier etc.) The neighbourhood is very safe (well, Urk IS a very safe city in general), there are two bakeries, a supermarket, a sweets store and a slaughter shop next door. The beach is a few minutes away by foot.

Set in Lemmer and within less than 1 km of Lemmer Beach, Bed & Breakfast Easy to Sleep features a terrace, allergy-free rooms, and free WiFi. The property has river and city views. When staying at the bed and breakfast, guests can use private entrance. Very comfortable, close to everything in Lemmer and with an AWESOME breakfast. Very well equipped, with a bit of a private “living room” atmosphere. If I’m back in town, I will most certainly try to book “Easy to Sleep” again.

Beautiful quiet location with lots of natural light , and great view of marina . Very comfortable bed great coffee machine and wonderful helpful attentive host best stay ever just like being at home would definitely stay again highly recommend . Hoorn centre 5 minute walk with great cafes and shops and beautiful area to walk around.

The host was lovely and spoke very good English. Her husband was very poorly but she still made me breakfast at 7am. So kind. It’s a beautiful place.

Hinderloopen or Stavoran are the restaurant/bar options, both about 5 miles away, but we were well aware & prepared for that.

The location is truly amazing – a beautiful and peaceful village away from the city noise, right next to the lake and beach. It’s also very convenient for visiting Hoorn and exploring other great places in North Holland (West Friesland). The apartment itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel at home right away. The hosts are extremely kind and hospitable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
