About the surroundings: The turtle reserve in Ras al Jinz is about a 20 mins drive away, so not too far if you want to go there for the morning or evening-excursion. The beach in Ras al Hadd itself is really quiet. From here you can go snorkeling and on a boat tour to see some dolphins or turtles in the water, if you're lucky ;-) the trip can be booked at the guest house

The hotel is an ideal stop over to the Turtle Beach at Ras-al-Hadd, Wadi Bani Khalid and Wahiba Sands, a major tourist attraction in Oman. Best Western Sur is also convenient for business with a multipurpose conference room. Everything was just perfect. Nice staff, very cute and clean hotel. Breakfast was great. Highly recommended!

The property is still new, very clean and in great condition. There is a swimming pool and a cozy shaded seating area available as well as the indoor reception area / majlis. The host, Mr. Abdullah, is very helpful and always available on site. He did everything to make the stay enjoyable. We were traveling over the Eid holidays and on this occasion were treated to a delicious home cooked dinner, provided by the owner Mr. Humaid.

Set in Sur, 49 km from Al Hadd Fort, 411Motel offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Very friendly staff. In the review, someone was complaining about the mattresses being too hard. The staff informed us right away about such a thing and offered us a different room. Honestly, the harder mattresses were very good for us, and we chose to stay in the same room.
