They took very good care of us during our two night stay. All meals were beyond amazing! We had conch curry, lobster, coconut bread, and a number of other delicious dishes that were outstanding. Sayra knows the local Guna well and took us on a tour around the island (Cambombia) to meet them. We bought molas from some of the local women. Their handicraft skills are truly impressive. San Blas is absolutely gorgeous and the water is pristine! No wind while we were there, but we had some excellent snorkeling! Sayra took us out on the dinghy to snorkel through different areas of the reef. Lots of different fish and some of the best coral we have seen. It was a very relaxing weekend, and one we will always remember. Highly recommend staying!

The boat provides sea views and an outdoor fireplace. Daniella and Paul were wonderful hosts. They were both excellent sailors, knew the islands really well and took us to all the best snorkeling reefs. They were also both excellent cooks; Paul making delicious pancakes and French toast for breakfast and Daniella (from Italy!) making amazing homemade pizza and pasta - the later served with lobsters purchased from the Kuna (Guna) fishermen who came to our sailboat with live lobsters for sale in the bottom of their dug-out canoe. Paul and Daniella were also friends with many Kuna and knew all about their culture and society. We purchased beautiful "Mola" from an elderly Kuna woman who came on the boat with her family. They made sure that we had a perfect 4 days and we feel that we saw most of the islands. We were also blessed with perfect weather although I have heard it can rain in San Blas.

We enjoyed the beautiful beaches and islands. The staff were very attentive. The food was very good. There was variety and plenty of good food. There were vegetables and fruit with the meals. The breeze through the cabanas' bamboo walls was nice and cool. Bring a string for hanging clothes to dry inside of the cabana. Bring dessert if you want dessert. Expect camping type conditions, showers are rain water that is not heated. If the waves are really good size, you'll need to pull your bed to the non-splashing side of the room. We really enjoyed the excursions to snorkeling sites and beaches. These cost $2 or $3 per person for the beach fees. There are places to get beverages at the other beaches so bring some money with you on the excursions, , but mostly small bills. For the 3 days/nights, we used 6 liters of bottled water per person. We brought that with us. There are other resorts on Naranjo Chico Island that have some beverages you can purchase. These cantinas are near the large shared beach.. We loved getting to know the staff. They are super people.

We liked the people who welcomed us most kindly and who did everything to make our stay absolutely wonderful. It was an honour for us that the Kuna Yala let us stay on their island. Every day we were served fresh food directly from the ocean. They also organized trips for us to other islands on a daily basis. Our hut was on the water on pillars and we could watch fish from our verandah. Of course, the place with its beautiful sandy beach is kind of isolated but that was what we were looking for.
