We especially loved the peaceful environment and the beautiful location of the villa. The beach area near the resort was stunning, and we also appreciated that another beach — with shops, restaurants, massage places, 7-Elevens, banks, and ATMs — was just a short 7-minute walk away. It made everything super convenient! The Pool villa 01 was perfect for the 2 of us the pool clean and big with lights and jacuzzi jets, very spacious villa , bathroom is clean and very large and everything works just fine, the living room has a nice smart tv and sound system. InShort the villa is very spacious and clean and feels like new. The staff were also a big highlight of our stay. They were always helpful, kind, and had warm smiles on their faces. One thing we really appreciated was how fast and affordable the laundry service was — clean and dry in just 2 hours, usually one day after! Another plus was the shuttle service. For just 100 Baht per person, you could get a ride — which we found very reasonable and helpful for getting around.

Located in Koh Tao, Mae Ya Resort features 4-star accommodation with private balconies. The property is situated 1.7 km from Aow Leuk Beach, 8.5 km from Ao Muong and 3 km from Shark Island. The resort provides an outdoor swimming pool and room service and free WiFi. This was by far the best stay of our trip !! Me and my friend traveled Thailand for 3 weeks and this was the highlight of our stay. Beautiful views and super clean ! We particularly loved how friendly the staff were. Me and my friend loved the lady at reception, she was so lovely and super accommodating. They also offer a really good taxi service to and from the resort and the guy was very nice and also again super accommodating. If you’re looking for a place slightly out of town but still a short enough drive this is perfect.

I originally planned to stay just a couple of nights, but I ended up extending again and again, eventually staying 8 nights! The place has a really warm, family-like atmosphere that made it very hard to leave. The staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful. The hostel is cleaned frequently and everything always felt very tidy and well-maintained. One of the highlights for me were the daily shuttle services to different beaches around Koh Tao. It made exploring the island super easy and fun. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming stay with great people and good vibes! <3
