The new Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort – SHA Plus is an absolute beachfront property situated on Bangsak beach, a long stretch of coastline off the Andaman Sea, just a 90 minute drive from Phuket International Airport. We only had a 3 day stay with my sons family, it was perfect for a family break with something for everyone & great location only 15mins drive to the town with lots of bars & restaurants, but was also nice to chill in the evenings at the beach restaurants only a short walk.

The Malila offers international food by the beachfront with views of the open kitchen where guests can enjoy fresh seafood dishes. The room was spacious, elegantly designed and had a wonderful view out to sea (we were in a Grand Deluxe close to reception, so the relative height at the top of a hill offered a great vantage point). Breakfast was outstanding with tonnes of vegetarian (and gluten-free) options, which was wonderful as so many Thai breakfasts tend to be so meat-heavy - this was a welcome break. The staff were courteous and friendly without exception, and the a/c in the room managed to keep the room cool despite the humidity outside. Visiting in low season was superb value, and honestly with just a few minutes of rain on one of our three day stay, a June visit is really a no-brainer, especially as nearby Khaolak is so quiet and crowd-free during this time. Walking around the resort is a pleasure - if you're lazy and don't consider walking in lush vegetation to be enjoyable, then go stay somewhere flat.

The room was beautiful with the most comfortable bed Restaurants were also great specially olives and The deli Great for families because of all the really thoughtful activities for both kids and adults

This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.

Lots of shops , restaurants, 7-11 nearby.
