We were right on the beach and had a beautiful view of palm trees and the ocean. We had everything we needed in the room (kitchen, great TV, comfortable furniture), and we could walk into town or to the market to get what we needed. Plus, we could do laundry for free if we needed clean clothes.

Bars cafés can be found in the centre of Cruz Bay, and the resort offers direct access to the beach and coral reef. St John is ideal for horse riding, scuba diving and sailing.

Gallows Point Resort is 11 km from the Mangrove Lagoon, 19 km from Historic Hassel Island and 10 minutes’ drive from St John Caneel Bay. Great location....far enough from downtown to be quiet at night, but just a short walk to get there. Beautiful views all around. Property was well maintained. Great views of the ocean from the pool deck!

The location and grounds are as beautiful as ever. Removed from beaches and restaurants so you'll need to rental car or use the shuttles. We enjoyed the snorkel tour since we went to snorkel places we couldn't get to using our jeep.

The property was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The host Sunny was exceptional. Any questions or concern was answered in a timely manner. My stay was short but comfortable and with no worries.
