The staff here were absolute legends — super friendly and full of handy tips for getting around Cat Ba. Room was comfy, and the bed was a solid crash pad after a big day out on the bay. Rooftop bar’s a ripper at sunset and the pool’s a great spot to kick back. Only hiccup was the patchy wi-fi some arvos and the shower taking a bit to warm up. Towels were on the thin side too, but the crew sorted things quick smart, which made it all easy. Plus, it’s close to the pier and heaps of seafood joints.

The place is outside of the city center, which allows you to take in real fresh air. The place is clean and has been freshly painted. At night, as the beach is too far, it is possible to go for a swim in the relaxing swimming pool. The balcony is very large and protectd from the heat of the sun and allows one to work on the computer, if need be. Mr. Cane is an excellent billard player, think twice before asking him to play.
