Food was great, staff were friendly and the location was amazing. Being able to kayak to the blue holes right from the resort was amazing.

We absolutely loved staying at the treehouse. Angelique is an exceptional host and a highlight was spending the day with her family preparing a traditional meal cooked in the firepit. The beach is stunning, just like a postcard photo and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Angelique prepared lovely meals everyday and was great to chat to. The treehouse was really special and met our needs. The whole stay was relaxing, a really nice slow pace with swimming, reading, some games and more swimming.

Superb location right by the sea and close to town. Funky shipwreck right in front. Cool place to stay and super quiet.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 6.4 km from SS President Coolidge. Stuart helped arrange our airport transfer and boat taxi. Bani dropped us at our own beach outside the house and Rebecca met us with a big smile and showed us around the house. The house is well stocked. We are a cooking family and was great to have sharp knives and a good range of kitchen equipment. Bani took us to the market for fresh fish and grocery's. Well worth it. A well positioned base to see the sights with a great dive operator a few doors down.

Picture perfect location, the room was beautifully presented, clean and well equipped, and the caretakers were very friendly and helpful. Remember to shop in Luganville before you arrive - the room is equipped with a bar fridge with little freezer section at the top, and there is a restaurant a short stroll up the road (approx 500m) if the tide is low you can walk along the beach. Highly recommend staying here, everything was perfect!!

Guests enjoy free use of snorkeling and kayak equipment. We stayed here for ten days over the xmas break. Barrier Beach Resort is set on a sheltered bay, in a beautiful location. We had the most relaxing stay, everything about this resort is perfect. The owners are friendly and accomodating, the staff really are exceptional and go the extra mile. After trying a few lunches elsewhere we thought the food at Barrier was the best on the island. There’s a wide selection of choices from the menu and the wine list is great too. There’s kayaks and snorkel gear to use free of charge. Santo itself is well worth the extra effort to visit, it’s a stunning island and the locals and their culture are amazing. You’ll be rewarded with something special as a holiday destination.
