Your best choice in Armenia! What a fantastic experience at Ararat B&B. You will find yourself in a warm and welcoming home of an Armenian family. In the middle of a rather dry country, you can relax in a spectacular oasis and snack on freshly harvested fruits from the garden. A wonderful dinner and breakfast was prepared for us - homemade is the best word to describe it: From pickled vegetables, eggs, juice, vodka, milk, and even cheese and butter, everything came from homegrown crops and livestock and was processed at home. Stunning! On the way to Ararat and Noravank, Arat B&B is an absolute must. We immediately felt at home and saying goodbye was harder than we thought. Thank you so much for everything! LiViTi was the perfect place to stay for three days exploring Areni. The host family are gracious, humble people who went out of their way to make me feel very relaxed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and for a very reasonable price, I was able to enjoy fresh home-made cooking in the evening too. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location of the property is ideal - you are very close to many of the main tourist sites nearby such as Noravank, Areni-1 Cave and Selavatar. If you are without a car, you can easily reach Areni from Yerevan by bus. Gohar was in fact kind enough to book me a ticket for the return journey back to Yerevan too which was very helpful. I can definitely recommend staying at LiViTi. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay in beautiful Areni!

This place is a hidden gem in Armenia - Anna is an amazing host, so easy going and flexible. Our room was huge and comfortable, it’s a little family run guesthouse in the middle of Areni village so has a great local feel. We did a wine tasting, had a huge home cooked dinner and breakfast and loved every bit of it. Thank you for sharing with us!

It was an amazing experience from the very begginning- the communication with the facility was very quick, they answered all my questions ahead of our stay and we managed to book a dinner and wine tasting as well. The meal was just perfect! Tasty, rich, well prepared with everything you might want from Armenian dinner experience. The wine they make was delicious! If you plan a trip to this region, you should definitely stay with those guys. Eric was great. Rooms are simple, but there is everything you might need, beds comfortable.

The accomodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. You feel completely in your own space, it is very quiet and the bedroom is dark and comfortable. The air con is in the lounge and cools the whole space well. The tv is a smart tv. The rest of the property is beautiful, with a lovely garden and incredible views. The location is great for visiting areni’s attractions. The stepanyan family made this trip for us, they are all so lovely, polite, and friendly, and made our stay so enjoyable. We loved seeing the dried fruit production and the wine tasting and tour, the dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful and we left feeling so well fed and replenished. They were all so helpful and went out of their way for us several times. We are very grateful and cannot recommend this enough.

We really liked our host Volodya, who is aged, but experienced local resident from Areni. He is as Armenian as you can get and he can tell you a lot about life in this country. Wine lovers will especially like him as he takes I guess every guest to his wine cellar. We were curious about details of winemaking and fruit growing and he took time and explained us all. You need a bit of Russian for that but not much, there's a lot you can explain with one word and two hands. Theory is one but with Volodya is also practice as he insist on you trying all four sorts of his wine and they taste awesome. And all that was just a preface to his dinner which was phenomenal. We ate sashlik barbecued meat and fresh vegetables from his garden and it was delicious. We had quite a cultural evening with Volodya and we would sure want to stay more than one day which I insist you must, even though Areni seems a bit backwater village, but part of Armenia experience is also that and Volodya is a great guide for those.
