Our stay at the aghasu tun b and b ended up being one of our favorite parts of Armenia. Amalia (sp?) was a lovely host who not only was a great chef but it was very nice to get to know her and share our love of music together. There is a communal area where we got to spend the evening with other guests who were also very lovely and showered us as well with Armenian hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Surrounding area is very beautiful (don't miss Lori fortress). Amalias garden is also really cool!

Cool place, crazy nature. Homemade products, ecological, real. Comfortable room, the room has everything you need. The hosts are hospitable and ready to help with everything. Mary and her family were the kindest and most welcoming hosts we could wish for. Right upon our arrival they offered us tea and refreshments and gave us various tips on what to see in the area.Their homemade dinners and breakfasts (served at a terrace with wonderful views) are huge and simply delicious, absolutely perfect after a whole day spent in the mountains around Haghpat. The room itself is very light and spacious, located in a house in the middle of a rural vegetable garden a few hundred meters from the monastery. In spite of our very poor knowledge of Russian, Mary's parents were always very friendly and open to talk with and fully accommodated all our wishes. We'll be very happy to come again if ever back in Armenia. Thank you! <3

We stayed one night at VaLiVa. Gevorg has built a great place, very clean and light with excellent modern facilities. Hot water with good pressure in the shower. Gevorg was very helpful and friendly. He drove is to Haghpats and we hiked back, with a stop at the Sanahin bridge. Breakfast was good. The location was excellent, right near the monastery.

Amazing place to stay. The guesthouse is next to the family home of the hosts. The family is very welcoming, friendly and open to give advice on what to do in the area. English is not a problem. They brought fresh and tasty breakfast to us every morning and there is an optional cooked dinner. Comfy beds, kitchen and seating area. The Migoyan museum and Sanahin monastery are next door and the start to some wonderful hikes are nearby. There is a small shop next door. You can also watch the piglets in the neighbour's barn while drinking your morning coffee.

Perfect location in a historical house just next to the Sanahin Monastery. The hosts are a very friendly family and they make sure their guests feel comfortable and happy. They helped me to arrange taxis to all the monasteries located in the vicinity. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced.

What an experience we had at Guesthouse VL! We found our own little paradise in the middle of nature. This September, we were hiking the TCT (Transcaucausian Trail) and we booked our night in Akori. When we arrived, Aren and his wive were waiting for us. They made us tea, coffee accompagnied with cookies and fresh fruits. It was so nice! The dinner and breakfast that we asked for were served with fresh ingredients and with a warm heart. It was the best Armenian food. The rooms were spacious and clean. If you want a good Armenian experience, please go there.

Lovely guesthouse in Sanahin, just around the corner from Sanahin Monastery. Rooms are really clean and comfortable. Host is incredibly sweet and will make you feel right at home. Very peaceful with a lovely yard to enjoy. 10-15 minutes walking to bus #3 that can take you to and from Alaverdi. Highly recommended.

    Where to start, the food was excellent, we had dinner and breakfast, all ingredients are locally produced. Hosts are super friendly and helpful and speak very good French and also English. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the common area has large windows which gives a great view on the surrounding mountains. The large garden invites you to relax and enjoy the view and quietness. Overall I can highly recommend staying at B&B Odzun and explore the great surrounding nature, and get to know the great hospitality of the Armenians.
