Our group of friends had an absolutely fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The location was truly amazing – it provided the perfect base for exploring the area and offered a wonderful atmosphere. What really made our experience special was the incredibly lovely hostess. She was so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Her kindness truly made us feel at home. As a bonus for animal lovers, we also really enjoyed the company of the guesthouse's dogs. They were so sweet and friendly, adding an extra touch of warmth to our stay. We would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay with exceptional hospitality. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again!

I am extremely satisfied with Aramyants Castle. The hotel was sparkling with high level of service and cleanliness. Everything was very beautiful and harmonious. I highly recommend everyone to visit this hotel and enjoy the incredible service. I am very grateful.

Mary and her family were the kindest and most welcoming hosts we could wish for. Right upon our arrival they offered us tea and refreshments and gave us various tips on what to see in the area.Their homemade dinners and breakfasts (served at a terrace with wonderful views) are huge and simply delicious, absolutely perfect after a whole day spent in the mountains around Haghpat. The room itself is very light and spacious, located in a house in the middle of a rural vegetable garden a few hundred meters from the monastery. In spite of our very poor knowledge of Russian, Mary's parents were always very friendly and open to talk with and fully accommodated all our wishes. We'll be very happy to come again if ever back in Armenia. Thank you! <3

Fabulous guesthouse. The hosts were wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. Anoush organised food for us at 10pm at night. We were travelling from tblisi and only booked once we got through the border, so did not give her much notice at all. Yet, she provided a delicious meal for us when we arrived. Very comfortable room, exceptionally clean. Wonderful views. Easy to get to, maybe 5 mins from the main road. Highly recommend 👌

Describing our incredible stay at Guesthouse Mary is a daunting task. In all honesty, I struggle to find the right words to capture the beauty and warmth we experienced during our time there. Looking back, I wish we could have extended our stay to fully immerse ourselves in the exceptional hospitality provided by Mary and her family. Right from the moment we arrived, we were embraced as if we were long-lost family members. A delectable array of homemade baked goodies greeted us, accompanied by a choice of invigorating Armenian coffee and tea. The village of Haghpat, nestled among the lush hills, plateaus, and gorges of the awe-inspiring Lori Province, provided the perfect backdrop. Here, natural and locally sourced ingredients were masterfully transformed into mouthwatering meals. From freshly churned butter and cheese procured from nearby farmers to homemade jams and baked goods meticulously crafted by Mary, her mother, and her talented nephew, Arthur, using fruits and vegetables from their own garden, every bite was a revelation. The Dolma, made with grapevines from Mary's garden, was a culinary delight, unlike anything we had ever tasted. What's more, Mary went out of her way to ensure that the meals catered to my vegetarian friend, showcasing her exceptional kindness. As for the accommodation, it can best be described as a nostalgic "Dacha," a charming summer cottage constructed by Mary's father in the 1960s. Each corner of the house is adorned with historical artifacts and handcrafted materials that transported us to a bygone era. The mid-century furnishings, skillfully crafted long before the age of mass production, offered a glimpse into a time when things were meticulously handmade. And how delightful it was to sit on the balcony, serenaded by the melodies of countless songbirds, or explore Arthur's captivating "mini-museum" in the basement, where family heirlooms painted a vivid picture of Armenia's rich history.

Exceptionally helpful and guidance with everything by Anton in the receptionen. He also speaks very good English. Good resturant. Spacious room with efficient and silent aircon. Comfortable bed.

Lovely little guesthouse with comfortable rooms, good WiFi and hot showers. There is a common room with free tea and coffee and the owner is lovely. She owns a little shop that you have to walk through to get into the hostel and she gave us a handful of free chocolates on arrival ♥️

Great host! Edmund went out of his way to ensure we had a super stay. He gave me a personal tour of his beloved garden. We were free to gather fresh fruit from his bountiful fruit trees. The room was spacious, clean and a bit quirky, in a good way. My bed was very comfortable. It has plenty of parking. Guest House in Alaverdi would be my first choice for a place to stay if I ever happened to pass through Alaverdi again.

The garden was very beautiful and peaceful. Sergo was an amazing host, he both gave us a tour of the top sights in the area and was very helpful with planning the rest of our trip. Over all a very nice man :) We got served both dinner and breakfast. The rooms are even better than the pictures, and everything was nice and clean.

Ms Israelian was the best hostess, kind, generous welcoming. An extremely educated lady with class, we had great conversations about life, history, music. My stay was a feast for the soul.
