We made our own breakfast because we booked at short notice and the owners hadn't been expecting guests. However they went out of their way to make sure that we obtained everything we needed to eat and the cooking facilities in the guesthouse were excellent. Although the owners could not speak English they communicated very well with the help of a translation app.

Our group of friends had an absolutely fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The location was truly amazing – it provided the perfect base for exploring the area and offered a wonderful atmosphere. What really made our experience special was the incredibly lovely hostess. She was so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Her kindness truly made us feel at home. As a bonus for animal lovers, we also really enjoyed the company of the guesthouse's dogs. They were so sweet and friendly, adding an extra touch of warmth to our stay. We had a wonderful time in Mini house, the shared room is cosy, and there is coffee/tea. We were welcomed with so much warmness and smile, we felt at home instantly. The owners also have a little supermarket just next to the hostel, which is very useful to buy some food for the day ! The room is clean and luminous, bathroom is clean, towels are given. I really recommend the place.

Great host! Edmund went out of his way to ensure we had a super stay. He gave me a personal tour of his beloved garden. We were free to gather fresh fruit from his bountiful fruit trees. The room was spacious, clean and a bit quirky, in a good way. My bed was very comfortable. It has plenty of parking. Guest House in Alaverdi would be my first choice for a place to stay if I ever happened to pass through Alaverdi again.

We ordered a dinner from the host, the dinner is too enrich, and it's nice the host provided the breakfast in free of charge. The location is very good and about 5 mins walk to the monastery.

What an amazing place to stay! The view from the main balcony is only the start! Everything else will blow you away. This family-run hotel is beautiful. The owners are the sweetest people and they did everything to make us feel comfortable. My husband even got sick during our time here - we stayed an extra night and they gave us meds to help him get better. They took such good care of him and cooked foods so he can feel better. The rooms are large and very comfy. The best and pillows are great. The common area is great for talking to other travelers. They also provide free tea and coffee. What's another great thing is that they can prepare supper at the hotel too. A delicious home-cooked meal that's different every day. And the breakfast is amazing - so much food and so delicious! The value for the money is unparalleled. Don't even hesitate and book a stay here. You won't find better in Haghpat!

This is a lovely little homely refuge in Sanahin, a stones throw away from the monastery. Gevorg and Mane are the kindest, most caring hosts. Gevorg greeted us on arrival and took the time to get to know us and make us feel welcome. We absolutely loved it here!
