We enjoyed our stay at Pension Strobl immensely. The pension is either new or very recently and very nicely refurbished, our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the view of the lake was amazing, breakfast was very tasty, with a nice assortment of items... It was a great place to stay, both if you want to explore the wider area around Salzburg, and if you want to rest and and enjoy nature. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Landhotel Hochlackenhof, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Nestled in a very calm part of the landscape, this familly managed accommodation offers a serene and peaceful environment that is perfect for relaxation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. Every corner was spotless, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards of hygiene. The room was not only clean but also very comfortable, making it a perfect home away from home. One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding kitchen. The meals prepared here were exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. Whether it was breakfast, or dinner, the quality of the food was consistently high, and it truly added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Overall, the quality of accommodation at Landhotel Hochlackenhof is top-notch. The combination of a tranquil setting, immaculate rooms, and superb cuisine made my stay an unforgettable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel – a truly delightful establishment with wonderful staff. As a family-run business, it offers everything one could need to explore the charming surroundings of Salzburg. The location is excellent, situated close to all the lovely small towns. Sebastian and his mother take exceptional care of their guests in a warm and welcoming manner. We highly, highly recommend it.
