Loved the look of the place and quiet location, and it’s not too far from the highway. We enjoyed being able to wander around the large garden with the many birds coming in for food and water. Able to have a relaxing swim in their pool and just enjoy the environment. The accommodation was very comfortable and contained everything that you would need. Breakfast food was in the fridge for cooking ourselves the next morning and it certainly was a hearty helping. The added bonus was that Gavin cooked us a beautiful dinner, spaghetti bolognese for the hubby and chicken salad for me both very delicious and it meant we didn’t have to venture out looking for food. Gavin was a very nice friendly host as was his partner.

We stayed 1 night at the Castle at Gonville and wished we had booked longer. The hosts were absolutely amazing and the accommodation was idyllic. Breakfast was prepared to our exact requirements with many of the ingredients sourced from their own garden. We could not have been made more welcome. If you are travelling in or around Gonville or Coffee Harbour, this is a must stay B&B. It will exceed your expectations.
