Hospitality, kindness, breakfast, location, house&garden.. everything was just so great. You can feel the peace while you stay. There is a really lovely pool which we couldn't swim because of the weather but it would be the really great to swim in there which covered by fully green garden and trees. I highly recommended!! Thank you to Liesbet & Dirk for hosting us and their kindness! <3

The best place to stay in Diest and a fantastic place to stay in Flemish Brabant in general. High standards, from the room to breakfast, and great hospitality by the hosts that make you feel right at home. Rooms: spacious room, very tastefully done with a large, confy bed and confy bedding, very high standard bathroom with a mirror all the way up to the ceiling, air-con, blinds on all windows including the skylight, built-in wardrobe with enough hangers and a (very stylish) separate bathroom. The TV can be moved around in the room freely. Hotel facilities: both rooms are adjacent to a veranda and the garden, both very cozy and inviting. Ideal to work there (solid WiFi and plugs nearby), also due to the adjacent kitchen with free coffee and tea. Every room also comes with a fridge in the kitchen where you can buy drinks for cheap (minibar equivalent). Location: very central in Diest, everything nearby from shopping, supermarket to various parks. Swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts also nearby. Everything is walkable. Multiple good restaurants are also within walking distance. Parking is also not a problem. Breakfast: a very special breakfast made with great attention to detail and served at the table every day. Nothing to be desired, from fresh smoothies and orange juice to good coffee, artisan cheeses, fresh fruits, changing joghurts, a large variety of breads and baked goods. They also served fresh egg dishes/breakfast eggs according to your preference (every day). It doesn't get better than that! The best part: the increadibly hospitable hosts, Annick and Jeroen! Simply the best for a (romantic) getaway. The host Mrs Ira is very enthusiastic and passionate about her BNB. She lives her place with heart and soul. You have a standalone house in the garden (BEAUTIFULL GARDEN), with acces to the parking, the garden and the pool and poolhouse. The breakfast is "hors du commun". We are totally in love with this place.

Everything in the room was finished to a very high standard. There was nothing missing in the room. It had all been very well thought out. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice . The surrounding area is very quiet, and there is outdoor seating to take in the peace and tranquillity. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

I think they could be excellent certainly they tried to correct anything quickly as they were on a learning curve simply said I would go back again or certainly book for friends visiting as most faults are being picky rather than major issues
