Perfect location in the hearth of the mountains! Views! Sunset! All included in the price, except for weather, but we were lucky :) Very good food at the restaurant. In fact, this is rather a mountain hotel, not just a hut. Just have in mind, that you shouldn't miss the last cable car from Grindelwald Terminal, otherwise you won't easily get there and you risk that the reception will be closed. Of course, there is not much to do than enjoying the quiet evening in the mountains after the last gondola stops operating. But this is an advantage! Tip: if you want to go back on the next day to Grindelwald, don't go directly from the top. First take a walk to Kleine Scheidegg which is very easy and extremely beautiful. Then you will have two options: either take a train, either continue hike.

The Alpenblick hotel is a family business, situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food.

Amazing and accommodating staff. We decided to extend stay, which was met with great professionalism and service from the staff. The rooms are clean, spacious and cozy. The breakfast was very good! Hosts were very polite and helpful. We had issues with our booking at another hotel, so this booking was done by BOOKING.COM. The hosts Tobias was kind enough to accommodate at the last minute. He prepared the apartment and was ready in an hour. Since we arrived late, Tobias has even provided groceries for late quick meals. The apartment was clean , nice and had all the amenities. The view from bedroom was snow clad mountains.
