Very friendly host and interesting conversations. The plan was to stay for one night but they had so cute goats outside that our son just adored so we stayed a second night. If our Interrail pass had not expired soon and we needed to go back to Sweden we would have stayed another night. Churwalden has the longest rodelbahn in Switzerland. Don't miss that on your stay which is a 15 minute walk from the accommodation. I can also recommend a hike up on the mountain Fulenberg above the rodelbahn if you are trying out the rodelbahn and you will save your knees a little bit on the way down.

The location is a bit off the beaten track, but easily reached by cable car or car. It’s so peaceful and the views are beautiful. If you want to wake up to the sound of cowbells, you couldn’t choose a better place. The hosts were also super welcoming. You immediately felt part of the family. It is clear that the owners are an active part in the local community and that they pride themselves on great food and traditional recipes. Our stay felt very special and we couldn’t have asked for more.

Incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts! Perfectly designed and restored old house with lots of wood and little rustic and retro details. An amazing balcony on the rooftop with great views of the town and the mountains. Lovely breakfast with great coffee for a perfect start of the day. Many activities in the close proximity, what more can you wish for. Ohhh, and not to forget, homemade jams/marmalades are a must try (and buy ;) )

A Perfect Place for a Winter Getaway! I had the pleasure of staying at this charming guesthouse for a few days, and I am absolutely thrilled with my experience. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, which added an extra level of comfort. A standout feature was the complimentary in-room mini bar, stocked daily with water, juices, and beer – such a thoughtful touch! Right behind the house, there’s a small hill with a free ski lift, perfect for beginner skiers or kids who want to enjoy skiing or sledding. It was a delightful and convenient option for some fun in the snow! The location is also a major plus – situated right next to a train station, making it easy to access, and just a short distance from proper ski slopes. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that make it a true winter wonderland.
