I really appreciated my stay at the Chasa Sassalbo were I have felt just like at home thanks to Karen's kindness & warm welcome. The room was very clean and lovely, I slept so well. After few days on the road, it was the perfect place to relax, explore and chill on the balcony with great views. I loved the charming feel of the place, a mix of Swiss-Italian atmosphere, architecture and decoration. It is perfectly located for great holidays, I could spend the afternoon on the lake's beach and had a swim, having a pizza in Italy, hiking the Swiss Alps, a day in famous Saint-Moritz and the Bernina Express train stop is just 5 minutes away. The value for the affordable price makes it a perfect relaxing place and central point from were to explore the stunning surroundings for a holiday or for fews days. I highly recommend. Breakfast was amazing! Very diverse (croissant, bread, cold meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, muesli, coffee...) and big amounts. The beds were comfy and the place very clean. Towels, shampoo, shower gel, coffee machine, coffee, kitchen utensils...all available in the room. The staff was extremely friendly and thoughtful. She speaks Italian, German and English at least. Really good location as well to go to Tirano by train or car.
