In an expensive country as Switzerlands is, this accommodation has excellent value. Clean room, easy self checkin at 11pm, free coffee station and small fridge in (shared) living room, good communication with owner, en located 5 min walk from train train station and tourist train to Pilatus Kum.

Located opposite the train station in the peaceful town of Giswil, Hotel Bahnhof is just a 20-minute walk from Lake Sarnen. It features a restaurant and a large garden.

Kitchen area in the room made it very comfortable. Room was big and quiet. Amazing mountain view, balcony was amazing with a small river in front of it. I would come again, it was a very lovely stay. staff was very friendly.

The Gasthaus Paxmontana is centrally located in Flüeli-Ranft and offers panoramic views over the Sarner Lake, the Oberwald mountains and the Melch valley.

We stayed in a triple room in the Paxmontana Gasthaus although breakfast and welcome drink were offered in the main hotel. The location is wonderful. We were so happy we booked that hotel in this peaceful location surrounded by this beautiful greenery and walking paths. The staff is very efficient and kind. Our room in the Gasthaus was very comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our stay there

Everything was on the top level. The location is perfect and the staff were very helpful! Will definitely come back. The only wish I would add is to have fresh vegetables for breakfast (like tomatoes/cucumbers).
