Everything is nice. The room is big and confortable, the bed is huge , the bathroom and shower were top. the breakfast is good and our host Susana is wonderful.

Casa Azul is located in the centre of Puerto Varas, only 7 minutes away from the main square, supermarkets, the beach and the Casino.

I love the people here, from the staff/volunteers to the guests. I love the cleanliness I love the bed, oh that's the comfiest hostel bunk bed I have ever slept and I am now not being extra LMAO I love the bathroom, it's so SPACIOUS I love the environment even they have a park in the back! This is a special message for the volunteers, there are two: that one Argentine man (I am really bad at remembering name) and a spanish girl named Alba, you guys are very kind... the Argentine is very bubbly and he let me stay for some hours extension for free only for waiting for my bus. And Alba, she is a sweet Catalunya girl. We had a lot of things to chit-chat and she loves to paint. If you stay here and see the paintings of two mountains in a section behind the reservation, that's what she did. To these two people, if you read this, I wanna say, it would be a pleasure to meet you and thank you for giving me a memorable ending for my Chile trip even tho it's only one-night moment. Had an amazing 5-night stay at Compass del Sur - the staff were always friendly and welcoming, and assuredly accommodating with my meager Spanish abilities. Breakfast was homemade and delicious; one day they were making the strawberry marmalade in the kitchen and the house smelled like grandma's! The house is clean and appears to have ample options for private rooms. They also offer reasonable rates for transportation to Puerto Montt Airport. I didn't have the time to try any of the many advertised excursions on the chalkboard by the front desk; I suppose it's just another reason to return here when I travel to Puerto Varas!

This is a nice little gem. Great for travellers. Walking distance to everything. And the host was kind, informed and very laid-back. Definitely recommend.
