The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay the best. Their cute and well-behaved animals were a big plus! The hostel is clean, the beds comfortable and the aircon great (and necessary). Delicious breakfast. Good wifi! Located in a calmer part of Santa Marta with fewer restaurants, although close to the beach. A bit noisy during the evenings due to the traffic outside. Ideal for people traveling in groups or in pairs.

Felix is a super great host! It is not the typical hotel, it is like staying with a family. I used it mostly, to visit the Tayrona national park. Felix and his friends were super helpful about planning everything, for taking the bus and keeping some stuff, while I was hiking in the park. The bus is just leaving two minutes away from the place and just costs 8000 COP, for go to the park. For me it was an amazing stay, Felix and his friends are super friendly and so helpful and flexible!

Really beautiful small Kogui huts inside Tayrona park. Great Spot if you want to explore Tayrona for more than a day-trip. Approx. 50 mins from the main entrance if you Walk all the way and carry larger backpacks (25 min main road + 25 min dirt road and stairs!!) The houses themselves are pretty small but have everything you need for a few nights. The team is really nice, can tell you something about the park and offer dinner with vegetarian options. The huts only have cold water for showers and the main House was one of the few points with cell reception for me, which is really helpful! Approx 50 mins from the hotel to the nearest beach (la piscinita) with the busses and to short walks!

What Naydu and and her family established in this remote place is just incredible. The hard work, skills and dedication that go into bringing that kind of comfort into this quiet remote location cannot be overstated. The rooms are simple but very well constructed and I slept like a baby. Even though the first night we were subjected to quite a strong storm hitting the coast. The hearty and diligent service they provide from the delicious meals to logistical help and anything one might need is beyond words. Truly a pearl in this most beautiful part of the world. Greetings and much love to Naydu and her family who made me feel at home from day one up to being dropped off safely on a public bus to continue my journey.

I would recommend everyone to stay here! Clean, well-equipped and perfectly located to visit Tayrona National Park. The patio (with hammock!) looks out over the beautiful garden and river. We saw many hummingbirds as we were having our breakfast. Above all: Jorge is a really wonderful host!

Señora Catarina and Señor Robinson were so kind and heartful. We felt home from the very beginning. The garden is magic and we were allowed to pick fruits out of it for eating. We could also use the kitchen sometimes. The place is very peaceful and close to the beach and the river. The street is a little bit noisy but all the animal sounds let it go in the background. The breakfast was amazing! We did a walk with señor Robinson and he explained us a few things about Tayrona and the surroundings. A nice view into the real Columbian life. Thanks for everything!

    Great location close to the entry of Tayrona National Park. The natural springs pool (and the natural beauty of the hostel) were the highlights of my stay. Relaxing in the pool watching hummingbirds and seeing a family of monkeys the afternoon I arrived were a couple of my top memories. The older lady (owner's mom, I believe) and front desk woman were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet room and quality sleep. Happy to have been able to leave a piece of luggage there for a couple of days without additional cost.
