Lily was an amazing host and makes you feel comfortable immediately. The place is really comfortable and makes you feel at home away from home. In the morning we had breakfast together and it felt like we were staying with family. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful spacious lodge overlooking the coffee farm. Jennifer gave us a nice tour of the farm and offered a great breakfast as well as leaving some fresh ground coffee in our room. Loved the view from our beds of the hillside!

The Location is very good, not directly in the center of monteverde but can be reached by some walking minutes or a very cheap taxi drive but very quiet. The staff was really friendly and very helpful. They booked for us the taxis, answered every question really fast and were very kind. The breakfast was very good, there are a lot of options one can choose the evening before. The lodge had everything what we needed

The entire experience was great! The owner and his family are wonderful. The room is unique, clean, and beautiful. The hospitality was unmatched, and makes me want to come back immediately. The food is delicious. This was one of the highlights of our stay in Costa Rica! No complaints at all.

Hotel Guayaba is a wonderful place to stay. Just a 10min walk into Santa Elena town, and very well located for the Cloud Forest, wildlife tours, ziplines and other activities in Monteverde. Ernesto is so friendly and was very helpful in booking us a tour and getting a guide last minute. He even leant us umbrellas! The breakfast was delicious too. The room itself was fabulous - absolutely huge! The bed was so comfy and sheets were really soft too. Having a well equipped kitchen was such a bonus as well. We would really recommend Guayaba as a base Monteverde!

    Great location, great rooms, private and good beds to sleep in. Location was good, close to the small centre. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit and one day pancakes other days scrambled eggs. The personel is the best. Great reception from Jorge and Ro gave good tips and was very nice all dat around. Would very much recommend staying here!

    The hostel is run by a a charming and friendly family including Katrina the dog, Great breakfast and great location - minutes from the centre of Monteverde but also just outside the centre, meaning it was quiet. Great value for money and one of the best places we stayed on our trip. The breakfast pancakes are recommended too.
